Olympic gold medalist joins Consillium

Consillium adds an Olympic medalist to its team in a business development role.

Thursday, December 13th 2018, 4:36PM

Independent financial services specialist Consilium has appointed Nathan Cohen to its growing national sales team as a Business Development Manager.

Cohen has been a high-performance athlete, winning back to back world rowing double scull titles in 2010 and 2011, and a gold medal for New Zealand at the 2012 London summer Olympics with rowing partner Joseph Sullivan.

Cohen brings hard won knowledge from the high pressure and outcome orientated environment of top level sport, combined with solid experience working with clients in the financial service industry. He joins Consillium from FANZ Private Wealth, having previously worked at BNZ and serving as a Director at Rowing New Zealand.

Consilium Managing Director Scott Alman said “As our client base continues to build, we’re investing to complement our team’s considerable expertise. Consilium is expanding rapidly to stay ahead of demand, and bring our service and innovation to financial services professionals across New Zealand.
“We strongly believe great relationships with our financial adviser clients is key to helping meet their goals and help grow our industry, so we’re delighted to welcome Nathan to this key role and look forward to introducing him to our clients."
