Justin Fox

Justin Fox will take up the role of General Manager, Private Wealth starting at the end of April.

Ryan Bessemer, TEL’s chief executive said Fox will lead the Private Wealth growth strategies and a national team of trust managers and wealth advisers.

“Continuing TEL’s strategy and commitment to build our Private Wealth offering, Justin’s appointment follows a deep analysis of how our Private Wealth service can deliver the best outcomes for our clients who entrust us with their asset protection and investments,” Bessemer says.

Fox joins the Auckland-based Private Wealth team, following his time as Head of Villages at Summerset Group, one of New Zealand’s fastest growing providers in the retirement sector. There he was responsible for the overall leadership and management of Village Operations where his experience in delivering strategic growth objectives and building high performance teams has resulted in superior customer outcomes.

With more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, Fox brings a wide range of technical knowledge and business acumen to the Private Wealth team. He has previously held senior roles within the BNZ and IAG.

Fox said: “I am excited to take on this new role at TEL and being part of a strong organisation that is one of New Zealand’s oldest brands. I look forward to this new and exciting challenge in leading the future growth of the Private Wealth business and focusing on maximising value for our clients.”

“We’re delighted to have Justin lead our talented team of advisers and this role is essential to TEL’s growth strategy and in delivering solutions to help our clients reach their goals,” concluded Bessemer.

As at March 2019 Trustees Executors Private Wealth had $1.5 billion funds and assets under management. This ranges from investment portfolios and assets held on behalf of trusts, estates, individuals, families and charities.
