Generate beefs up investment team

Fund manager Generate has beefed up its investment management team as it prepares to launch a new fund.

Peter Grayson has joined as Chief Operating Officer from Northern Trust in the UK.

Much of Grayson's experience has been offshore. Previously he was the chief operating officer at Northern Trust Securities in London. Earlier roles included as stint as chief operating officer at Aviate Global and a six and a half years at Polar Captial in London Polar Capital as Operations/ Operations Manager.

He has a "Proven track record in both small boutique and large financial institutions," his LinkedIn profile says.

Andrew Bolland joined the investment team as a portfolio manager from a local fund manager.

His previous roles have been with BT Funds Management, Westpac and most recently Salt Funds Management where he was a s senior analyst/associate portfolio manager.
