Familiar face moves into general insurance

A former general manager of wealth and insurance at ASB has been appointed the chief executive of Tower Insurance.

Tuesday, May 5th 2020, 12:10PM

Blair Turnbull

Blair Turnbull has taken the role, moving from a position as managing director, UK Digital, with the Aviva Group.

He had been with ASB before that.

Tower chairman Michael Stiassny said the insurer was pleased to attract someone of Turnbull's calibre back to New Zealand.

"Blair has an enviable CV, achieving outstanding results for the national and internaitonal organisations for whom he has worked.

"Importantly, he has a proven global track record in large-scale digital and data innovation and delivering customer-focused models."
