Most of his time with ASB has been as an analyst, portfolio manager and subsequently investment strategy manager. Wilson will be assisting advisers design and manage portfolios, conduct ongoing analysis of client portfolios, deliver training and guidance on portfolio management and assist in the management of larger, more complex mandates.

The position of director in charge of operational excellence for the wealth management team will be filled by Julian Braithwaite. Braithwaite came across from Milford Asset Management where he is currently in a risk and compliance role. Prior to this he was strategy and projects manager at Craigs where he led the replacement of a legacy custody and KiwiSaver system.

Jarden says, "Julian will be working collaboratively with our advisers and digital team to develop systems, tools and processes that will drive efficiencies and deliver the highest standard of service to our clients."
