Mint Asset Management has appointed Gonzalo Hernandez to its investment team as an equity analyst.
Hernandez joins Mint from Hyperion Asset Management, where he spent three years as an equity analyst, following four years as an equities dealer within the Hyperion team.
"This background equips him with a strong foundation in both detailed equity analysis and market execution," Mint says. Hernandez will report directly to John Middleton, portfolio manager of the Australasian Equity Fund.
"The addition of Gonzalo reflects Mint’s ongoing commitment to delivering excellent results for clients and comes on the heels of its nominations for Morningstar Fund Manager of the Year and Morningstar Australasian Equity Fund of the Year," the company says.
