Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) rotates its leadership every year.
Current MDRT New Zealand Chair Travis Hamilton is stepping up into the MDRT Oceania Chair role. Meanwhile, Joel Mclachlan will become the New Zealand Chair.
"Joel's consistently demonstrated a genuine passion for MDRT since joining, and a commitment to supporting our members," Hamilton says. "Over the last 12 months he has been working hard, adding new ideas and I have no doubt Joel will continue to elevate the New Zealand group."
Mclachlan says; "I'm excited to build on all the good stuff that has been achieved in recent years."
In recent years the organisation has appointed chairs for the North and South Island to help co-ordinate events. Christine Zhao will continue on as North Island Chair while John Gaudion will be the new South Island Chair.
The changes take effect from September 1.
This year MDRT is holding its Global conference in Sydney next month. Hamilton says the New Zealand contingent travelling across the Tasman is probably the biggest group of New Zealand advisers ever to attend an MDRT conference.
Meanwhile, back in New Zealand the organisation is planning to hold an "MDRT Experience Day" at Boulcotts Farm in Wellington on October 16. Keynote Speakers are Aaron Kane - Managing Director of EK Financial Group in Melbourne Australia, and Corey Williams from Swain Woodham in Christchurch.
Three MDRT members are doing shorter MDRT Speaks sessions throughout the day. Advisers wishing to to attend the invite-only event, can reach out to joel@advicekiwi.co.nz for an invite.
