Lisa demonstrates a unique combination of generous spirit and exceptional business acumen. After 15 years working in large FMCGs, marketing some of the country’s biggest food brands, Lisa decided to put her corporate experience towards doing something that would make a positive impact in the community. As a mother of young children, she couldn’t fathom that in a country like New Zealand, 28% of children live in poverty and thousands go to school every day without lunch.

Lisa is relentless in her passion to promote the business across all avenues, challenging the way businesses think about social responsibility and how they can help solve social issues. Katrina was the CEO of the Funeral Directors Association, where she created unprecedented public awareness for the association and its members – constantly in the media talking with Kiwis about important issues and raising its profile for members.

Katrina has been the CEO of Financial Advice NZ for a month and is extremely excited about the opportunities to make a real difference in the sector.

On returning to New Zealand she purchased one of the first Mike Pero Mortgages franchise, which she ran for 12 years, this was the start of a new career in financial services. Following that, after a three years establishing the sales department for a roading supplies company she returned to the legal/financial sector to establish the new mobile sales team for Perpetual Guardian and lead the rebrand.
