ANZ's head of broker distribution departs

The head of ANZ and National Bank's specialist broker distribution channel, Paul Munt is returning to Australia.

Munt has been in New Zealand for six years and had various roles. Most of these have been broker focused.

He has accepted a role within the ANZ, however will now be based in Sydney.

"The new role presents a number of new challenges and opportunities, whilst at the same time enabling me to be closer to family."

He says there has been a huge amount of change over the past six years, and he is "really pleased to see how the industry has evolved."

Munt will return to New Zealand once a new Head of Broker Distribution appointed to help with the changeover.
