TNPPA reaches 12-month membership target in just 3 months

After opening its doors to members less than three months ago, the TNP Professional Association (TNPPA) has already far exceeded expectations in its gaining 100 members.

Monday, July 23rd 2012, 6:17AM

[Advertorial] Chairman, Dr Dave McMillan, says, "We have already surpassed our initial membership target for the year - this is a fantastic endorsement that the TNPPA offering has great appeal to advisers".

The TNPPA offering centres on three pillars:

·         Professional designations for RFA's (risk and mortgage)

·         Compliance and regulatory support and templates

·         Continuing Professional Development and online structured CPD programmes and tools.

Dr McMillan acknowledged the strong contribution that General Manager, David Yates, has already made in developing a contemporary offering utilising web-based technology.

"We recognise that many advisers prefer to undertake at least some of their professional development from the convenience of their own office. Consequently, we have built tools such as an online CPD database and we use webinars for structured learning wherever possible."

To coincide with the 100-member milestone, TNPPA is launching a new professional designation for mortgage advisers - Associate Loan Adviser (ALA) which evidences a commitment to the profession through formal education and practice tenure.

Plans for the remainder of 2012 include continued development of the offering to members and strengthening of the working relationship with the FMA.

To find out more about TNPPA and how it can benefit your business, please contact David Yates or Dave McMillan on 0508 4TNPPA (0508 486 772) or email info@tnppa.org.nz. Alternatively visit the TNPPA website www.tnppa.org.nz for further information.
