Asteron appoints national manager of adviser distribution
Following a management review Asteron has made a new appointment to oversea adviser distribution.

Asteron Life has appointed Kirsten Young as the national manager adviser distribution, following a review of the management structure.
Executive Manager, Life Distribution for Asteron Life, Graham Hill says the insurer took the opportunity to review the structure to ensure it continues to meet the needs of the fast-growing business.
"Kirsten has a strong leadership background within BNZ, ASB and Sovereign prior to joining Asteron Life five years ago. She is extremely passionate about the industry, which is a great asset to have in this role" says Hill.
Hill says the change allows a greater focus on leading the business development team and to work closer with key advisory businesses across New Zealand.
Young says, after supporting the lower half of the country for the past five years as Central and Southern Regional Manager, she is looking forward to meeting and forging new adviser relationships in the Northern region and to bring the wider business development team together as one.
"I feel extremely privileged to lead a team who are already successful. I’m really looking forward to building on this foundation, sharing best practices to ensure our business development team at Asteron Life are the best they can be for advisers and customers."
She has more than 30 years' experience in the financial industry and a strong relationship management and coaching background, Young hopes her experience will help continue the organic growth of Asteron Life.
Developing the talent within her team and supporting adviser business growth is high on the priority list for Young.
