Christchurch adviser cracks $1 billion mark; ASB cuts key rate

Cracking $1 billion in settlements is a major achievement for any mortgage adviser. To do it in the Christchurch market is remarkable considering house prices in the Garden City are significantly lower than Auckland.

But one adviser, Sue Clydesdale, has recently reached that milestone. Here's her story.

In interest rate news ASB has cut its 18 month rate by 26 basis points. Here's how it stacks up.
