NZXWT adds to its team

NZXWT maybe a digital business but also understands the importance of human relationships.

Friday, April 19th 2024, 6:20AM

Thomas Waugh has joined NZXWT as its new relationship manager. He was previously with Generate KiwiSaver.

Waugh was initially drawn to NZX Wealth Technologies by the game-changing technology and services which makes a huge difference to advisers and investors.

“As I got to know NZXWT better, I was also attracted to the collaborative vibe. It’s a fast-paced environment, new initiatives and solutions aren’t just discussed, we’re empowered to implement and make things happen, and our clients really appreciate the service we provide. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and supportive with many good laughs too,” he said.

NZXWT says that in an increasingly digital world, it believes that human relationships remain central to deliver an exceptional client service.

"This is why our clients have a dedicated relationship manager who truly understands their unique advisory services proposition."

"The relationship management team is the first line of support to our wealth advisers’ business. Having a direct line to a person our advisers have built a relationship with, means fast answers and effective problem solving. The team has access to the advanced tools and platform that we leverage to cut through complexity and deliver a seamless investment experience.

"We also use our client engagements as opportunities to gather valuable feedback to continuously improve our services and technology. The relationship managers sit closely to our product development, technology, onboarding and operations teams; providing a fast two-way connectivity to expert input as needed."
