Former Apex boss joins Trust Management

Trust Management, which provides financial services to charitable trusts and “for purpose” investors appoints new GM.

Renee Tourell has been appointed new General Manager of client services at Trust Management.

Tourell brings significant experience in operational excellence, client success, and leadership from her career in financial technology and professional services.

She has held senior leadership roles across a range of high-profile organisations, managing global strategy, transformational change, and client relationship management. Most recently, she served as CEO/Managing Director at Apex Investment Administration (NZ) Ltd (previously MMC), where she led strategic initiatives that delivered operational efficiency and successfully guided the company’s transition to Apex following its acquisition of MMC.

Prior to this, she was COO at Apex and held other key leadership roles at Meredith Connell, Wolters Kluwer and Dealogic.

Recognised for her ability to achieve commercial success and foster sustainable growth, Tourell is dedicated to building high-performing teams and cultivating strong, lasting partnerships with clients, while leading high-performing teams. Her commitment to operational excellence and her client-centric approach are assets that will greatly benefit Trust Management and its clients.

In her new role, Tourell will be responsible for Trust Management’s Commercial Property and Accounting capabilities. Her leadership will be key in helping Trust Management enhance its service delivery and build lasting partnerships with clients, while supporting the organisation’s broader growth and transformation efforts.
