Edmond’s career spans roles with Armstrong Jones, ING, OnePath and ANZ Investments, and has been actively involved with various industry bodies including the Financial Services Council.

ANZ Investments managing director, Fiona Mackenzie, says in a LinkedIn post: "With her infectious energy and an unwavering commitment to advice for New Zealanders, Trisha leaves an indelible mark on our company and the broader investment industry. In a domain traditionally dominated by males, Trisha has broken barriers and helped forged a path for female leaders."

"Her journey stands as a testament to the power of diversity and provides inspiration for women in financial services – myself included."

Mackenzie says she has valued Edmonds' wisdom on all aspects of ANZ Investments, "her passion for our customers, and her genuine empathy and care for all her colleagues. ANZ NZ is a large organisation but I am yet to meet an ANZ colleague who does not know our amazing colleague from Otautahi Christchurch."

Edmonds will spend the next few months ensuring a seamless transition. ANZ Investments distribution team will be led by Johnny Short, an experienced leader who is responsible for investment product solutions and has worked closely with Edmonds and her team for more than 10 years.

"Together, we are 100% committed to maintaining the high standards of service, collaboration and support that our customers rely on."

Well deserved rest for one of the great managers of the industry. I watched Trisha pave the way for many other women in the industry, and she should be acknowledged for the sheer professionalism and dedication to being excellent while navigating a period of great change for the industry. She's a champ!
