Fidelity Life has appointed James Mitchell as business manager to support financial advisers across Auckland and Northland.
He has four years of experience in financial services, and has worked closely with advisers in both insurance and KiwiSaver. He joins Fidelity Life from NZ Funds, where he was a wealth adviser, and previously held roles at AIA NZ, including as an adviser relationship consultant.
He will be based in Auckland and report to Michelle O’Connell, Fidelity Life’s Regional Manager – North.
“James has a great understanding of the adviser landscape and a genuine interest in helping businesses succeed and grow,” O’Connell says.
“We’re pleased to welcome him to the team and look forward to the contribution he’ll make across the region.”
Mitchells says; “Supporting advisers to grow their businesses and help more New Zealanders protect what matters most is something I’m passionate about. I look forward to building strong relationships with our adviser community and making a positive impact.”
He takes over from Kenny Kaushish, who recently left Fidelity Life to become a financial adviser.
