Tuesday, January 27th 2026, 8:33AM

Dan Gray has taken over as FNZ Managing Director, New Zealand, from Jeremy Graham who has been promoted to Head of Technology, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.

Gray will lead FNZ’s strategy, client delivery and growth in New Zealand. The comany says his appointment reinforces FNZ’s long-term commitment to New Zealand and continued investment in local leadership.

"Dan will lead FNZ’s New Zealand business, with a clear focus on delivering greater value for existing clients and supporting future growth," FNZ says in a release.

"He will represent FNZ in the New Zealand market with clients, market participants, service providers and regulators. He will also lead the New Zealand business’ strategy, commercial performance, client engagement, delivery governance and talent planning."

Since its foundation in Wellington in 2003, FNZ has grown to become one of the largest wealth management platforms in the world. From 2018 to 2026, it has grown assets on platform close to 10-fold from around $400 billion to $4 trillion and employs over 7,000 people globally.

"New Zealand remains a strategically significant market for the Group, with teams based across Wellington and Auckland supporting clients locally and across the region."

Gray has been with FNZ since 2007 and most recently served as APAC Head of Investment Operations, overseeing teams supporting clients across multiple markets in the Asia-Pacific region. He brings extensive experience across operations, client servicing and stakeholder engagement, alongside deep knowledge of the New Zealand financial services environment.

"After nearly 15 years helping grow FNZ’s presence and client base across the APAC region, I’m excited to bring that experience closer to home and focus even more on supporting clients in my home country.," Gray says. "I’m looking forward to working with our teams in Wellington and Auckland as we continue to build on FNZ’s commitment to New Zealand."
