New nib partnership to target visitors

Health insurer nib has entered a partnership with OrbitProtect, to offer health cover services for international visitors to New Zealand.
nib CEO, Rob Hennin, said the relationship complemented nib’s current suite of health insurance covers.
“We already have a strong presence in the Australian IIHI market and we’re excited to now get involved in the New Zealand market,” he said.
“There is also a complementary fit between the customers of OrbitProtect who seek permanent residence following their initial stay in New Zealand, and the products offered by nib to service those who become eligible for the public system but want to retain private health insurance cover for the sake of convenience and immediate access.”
Advisers will be able to access the new solution via a dedicated landing page due for release later in October.
