Thursday, October 16th 2025, 12:03PM

Paul Darwell joins Insync with more than 35 years of experience in trading and managing derivative risk for investment banks and fund managers across equity, interest rate, and foreign exchange markets.

His expertise spans delta-one products, options trading, and structured products. He has designed and implemented hedging strategies for large corporate and institutional clients throughout his career.

Most recently Darwell served as director, fixed income and currency trading at CBA, where he managed liquidity requirements for the bank’s offshore banking unit and interest rate exposures. His prior experience includes senior roles at Macquarie Bank as director, head of equity derivatives, and at Citigroup, where he spent 12 years leading derivatives and trading teams.

Monik Kotecha, Insync’s chief investment officer, said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul to the Insync team. His deep experience across derivatives and structured risk management enhances our ability to continue delivering strong, risk-adjusted outcomes for our investors."

"Paul’s appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to building a team capable of navigating the ever-evolving global market landscape with discipline and foresight.”
