Finbase adds ex-Westpac BDM to team

Non-bank lender Finbase has appointed Nicky Skinner as Business Development Manager. She joins Finbase following a 20-year career at Westpac.
Skinner spent her career at Westpac as a Business Development Manager working with a network of more than 300 mortgage advisers across the South Island, providing product knowledge and training to help clients secure homeownership.
Earlier in her career at Westpac, Skinner held branch management and lending roles, giving her a broad foundation across retail banking, credit, and adviser distribution.
At Finbase she will be responsible for building and deepening relationships with mortgage advisers and broker networks, helping to grow the distribution of Finbase’s private credit lending products across New Zealand. Her appointment supports the non-bank lender’s continued expansion of its adviser channel, as the company continues to grow as a tier-one private credit offering.

Also Antje Volk has been appointed Treasury and Finance Manager.
Volk brings extensive international experience in private debt and real estate funds, having held senior finance and treasury roles in the United States with global investment managers. She spent the past decade as Chief Accounting Officer / VP of Finance at Columbia Pacific Advisors, based in Seattle, and previously served as Director of Fund Accounting at Freestone Capital Management and Senior Manager of Audit, Financial Services – Asset Management at PwC.
