The ten inaugural council members will be governed by a Charter and will be tasked with discussing key industry updates and issues and provide objective feedback and advice on Fidelity Life’s future initiatives and propositions.

Fidelity Life chief sales and service officer Bronwyn Kirwan says “In choosing our ten council members for their two-year term we wanted to ensure we had the right representation of diversity, experience and perspectives, so discussions and input from the council could be reflective of the many different views and attitudes held by New Zealanders throughout the country.”

The Fidelity Life Adviser council will meet quarterly with the first meeting scheduled February 2023.

The ten members of council are:

1. Alana Collinson – Financial Independence
2. Amanda Haskins – Amanda Haskins Insurance

4. Dean Logan – Logan Smythe and Associates
5. Jonathan Winstone – Insurance Market
6. Josh Cuttance – Share NZ

From attending the FID roadshow 6 weeks ago it woudl appear that they are operating in their own reality . For any meaningful change to occur in their current offering - market relevance change is needed at a board level

Will this Adviser Council be free publish jits recommendations to Fidelity, at the least to all Fidelity users if not the market generally?
And will Fidelity publish its responses to any such recommendations?
