Lumley takes another award

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance has awarded its inaugural Claims Team of the Year Award to Lumley Life.

Friday, October 17th 2003, 11:50AM
The award is judged on 15 categories, measuring technical expertise, operational excellence and customer care. It included such qualities as 'displays genuine interest in customers concerns, often going beyond customers expectations' and 'a high level of determination to settle claims amicably within policy limitations'.

Lumley claims manager Kathryn Sanford said, "winning the Award is a wonderful recognition of our work and the fact that all parties involved in the claims process strongly supported our nomination makes it so much more special." "The Award is in a very real way a strong team effort and a recognition that excellence in claims management requires commitment, professionalism and mutual respect from everyone involved."

The Claims Team of the Year Award follows Lumley's award of Risk Manager of the Year earlier this year.
