Operations manager, Kirsty Fisher says the development is designed to make the claiming process as seamless as possible.

“When a member needs to claim, it is likely a stressful time for them. The easier we can make things, the less worries they’ll have and that’s what we’re here for,” Fisher says.

The main features of the portal are the ability to apply for pre-approvals online and to save and submit claims. Along with these members will be able to update their details, apply to suspend their policy and see what is covered under their plan.

Accuro has started working on the next phase of its online service which will include further upgrades with what members can do.

Chiefe executive Geoff Annals is committed to continued investment in innovative service offerings; “While we are a not-for-profit it is essential our members receive market-leading service and products.”

With extremely competitive pricing and product offerings the new portal simply enhances the offering from a New Zealand-based, member owned co-operative.
