Tapping into help with claims

The Adviser Platform has launched a specialist Claims Committee to help advisers manage tricky claims.

Friday, May 22nd 2020, 1:13PM

TAP’s Claims Committee is a team of experienced advisers and industry experts that provide advisers with assistance when dealing with challenging claims.

The goal of the committee is to help TAP’s adviser partners to develop best practice in claim management and deliver outstanding outcomes for their clients.

Scott Duncan, TAP’s Head of Compliance & Advice says: “Tapping into the significant experience of the team on the TAP Claims Committee, advisers are able to receive valuable knowledge and advice from those who have dealt with hundreds of claims over the years and have experienced scenarios that many advisers may never have come across during their career.”

“If a claim is declined, it isn’t a great result for the client or the adviser, and the adviser may not always know how to appeal it - something the Claims Committee can advise on based on previous experience with similar situations,” TAP managing director Ryan Edwards says.

Many individual advisers often struggle when it comes to supporting their clients through the claims process, not only due to a lack of experience but also because they are dealing with all of the day-to-day admin and processes within their business.

TAP provides advisers with the tools required to strengthen their business and spend more time with clients and less on admin. With a market-leading CRM, industry-trained admin staff, a dedicated compliance team, and now a specialist Claims Committee, TAP is the one-stop-shop for advisers looking to strengthen and streamline their business.
