An insurance broker accused of dishonestly making claims is set to go to trial in February.

Tuesday, November 24th 2015, 6:00AM

Hawkes Bay man David McGuffie, founder of Advanced Insurance, is facing four charges of dishonestly using a document between 2011 and 2013.

He denies making dishonest claims to Pinnacle Insurance, Asteron, TOWER and AIA.

His company went into voluntary liquidation last year.

His disclosure statement said he had been a broker since 2001 and had been a member of the Life Brokers Association.
