nib Foundation launches new charity grant scheme

The charitable entity of leading health insurer nib New Zealand has launched its first Kiwi grant programme called Health Smart Grants.

Tuesday, June 1st 2021, 10:20AM

The programme, designed to support registered charities dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Kiwis, and our youth and young adults, will be run by the nib Foundation with three Health Smart Grants of $40,000 available.

nib Foundation executive officer Amy Tribe says being able to offer the Health Smart Grants to Kiwi charities is an important step towards creating a healthier landscape on both sides of the Tasman.

The grants are designed to provide a funding boost to charities specialising in prevention and who are using innovative ways to empower and educate Kiwis to be health smart in their everyday lives.

Applications open today and end on June 30. To register your interest in the grants scheme click here
