Fidelity Life undecided on health plans

Fidelity Life says it has not yet determined a path forward for health insurance once its agreement with nib ends on June 30.

Tuesday, March 26th 2019, 4:31PM

For five years, Fidelity Life has been representing nib health insurance products in the adviser market.

Chief distribution officer Adrian Riminton said it was still considering its approach to health insurance in the future.

"For now it’s business as usual with nib. Our goal is to set advisers and ourselves up for a sustainable and successful future, with the customer at the centre of everything we do."

There had been industry rumours that Fidelity Life was eyeing a new partnership with Accuro.

There, chief executive Geoff Annalls said there had been no discussions about such an arrangement.
