Life Direct goes into bat for NZ Cricket

Direct to consumer life insurance platform, Life Direct, signs a deal with NZ Cricket.

Tuesday, August 15th 2023, 6:42PM

NZ Cricket has inked a three-year deal with Wellington-based online insurance platform Life Direct, which will see the company's branding on the Blackcaps shirt for all internationals played in New Zealand, as well as the upcoming series in the UAE, England, and Bangladesh.

Life Direct will also be the series partner for all White Ferns ODIs played in New Zealand.

Life Direct managing director, Mark Solomon, a cricket fanatic, says his team is delighted with the announcement.

“We are absolutely thrilled to partner with New Zealand Cricket. It marks an exciting chapter as we combine our passion for excellence with that of the Blackcaps and White Ferns.

“We look forward to working alongside both teams as we head into the upcoming summer and beyond.”

NZ Cricket general manager commercial, Chris Smith, says “Life Direct is a premium brand in the New Zealand market and, as such, an appropriate team partner for the Blackcaps and series partner for the White Ferns."
