ICIB Brokerweb buys AssureMe to target Asian market
The acquisition brings 20-year veteran Caroline Liang and her established client base to insurance group

ICIB Brokerweb Group has acquired AssureMe, an Auckland-based life and health insurance specialist with a strong client base in the Chinese and Asian community.
AssureMe handles life and disability insurance, trauma cover, health insurance, key person coverage, and employee benefits. CEO Caroline Liang brings over 20 years of financial services experience, including 10 years of running her own practice.
ICIB Life Northern Manager Zac Emery said that Liang will be a “great compliment” to ICIB’s Asian Business Division.
“We are excited to welcome Caroline to our business and expand our specialist Life & Health services into the wider Asian community,” Emery said.
Liang said she is looking forward to offering a greater range of services to her clients, and that the acquisition is “a win for everyone”.
